Tokaido REIT, Inc. was listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Real Estate Investment Trust Securities Market (J-REIT market) on June 22, 2021 (securities code: 2989; abbreviation: R-Tokaido REIT).
We are a J-REIT investing in stable assets in the Tokaido region, which connects Japan’s eastern and western hubs, based on an investment focus on industrial regions with Shizuoka at the core (Shizuoka, Aichi and Mie prefectures).
Tokaido has been developing as a region where there has long been an active flow of people and goods, underpinned by a strong economic base backed by industrial agglomeration and population concentration.
Our policy is to invest in stable assets while receiving support that draws on the extensive insight of sponsors rooted in this industrial region.
Based on said investment policy, we aim to enhance unitholder value by securing a pipeline through support that draws on the extensive insight of our main sponsor, Yoshicon Co., Ltd., and other industrial sponsors underpinning the industrial region (KIUCHI Construction Co., Ltd. and JDC CORPORATION), logistics sponsors (Suzuyo & Co., Ltd. and Seiwa Kaiun Co., Ltd.), infrastructure sponsors (Chubu Electric Power Miraiz Co., Inc. and SHIZUOKA GAS CO., LTD.) and financial and real estate sponsors (THE SHIZUOKA BANK, LTD. and Shizuoka Fudosan Co., Ltd.), and contributing to regional economies’ further revitalization and industrial development.
